Syracuse, NY, September 15, 2008 - Polaris Library Systems, a leading provider of library automation technology, announced today that Brampton Library in Ontario has selected the Polaris Integrated Library System (ILS). The Polaris ILS will replace the library's SirsiDynix Horizon system. "We are looking forward to partnering with Polaris," said Library CEO Adele Kostiak. "As part of our vendor selection process, we visited and interviewed Polaris libraries. We found that Polaris delivers on its promises and customers are very pleased with the software and the company." The Polaris ILS provides Brampton patrons with enhanced services including automated search alerts, RSS feeds, and multiple title lists. The system also includes robust metrics and reporting capabilities to help manage the library.
