Polaris Library Systems Annouces New Hires
New Hires in Customer Support and Business Development

Syracuse, NY, July 16, 2008 - Polaris Library Systems, a leading provider of library automation technology, has added new employees in implementations and sales.

Mary Ellen Mortola joins the implementation services team as senior automation librarian. In this capacity, Mary Ellen will support new Polaris customers in workflow analysis, implementation, change management with respect to migration, and training in advanced topics. Mary Ellen comes to Polaris after 20 years with SirsiDynix where she served in training, technical support and consulting capacities. Prior to joining SirsiDynix, Mary Ellen worked as a programmer before spending over a decade as a librarian in both academic and public libraries. Mary Ellen holds an MBA from the University of Houston and an MA in Library Science from the University of South Florida.

Dennis Todd comes to Polaris with over 19 years of experience in the library industry. Most recently Dennis came from SirsiDynix where he served in a variety of sales and product engineering positions. In his new role, Dennis will serve in a sales support capacity, providing leadership and support to staff and prospective customers. Dennis holds a BA in Music from Brigham Young University.
